National Family Portrait Month, Supporting Beyond Blue

Let me capture the perfect family portrait you've always wanted ~ all whilst supporting a great cause!
National Family Portrait Month was created to encourage parents to be in photos with their children, because you deserve to have the love and special connections you share as a family captured. Plus have at least one nice family photo on the wall!
During the month of JULY 2020, I am joining others photographers around Australia who are donating their time and looking for Families to be photographed for an upcoming book called “FAMILY LOVE…. Reflections of 2020”.
The book will be a fundraiser for Beyond Blue www.beyondblue.org.au and will be a celebration of loving families around Australia, reflecting on 2020 as a year of challenge and change. This fundraiser has unfortunately been rocked by the 2nd wave of Covid-19 just when Beyond Blue needs our support most. Please help us support this cause and in-turn help everyone's mental health!
Your $51 participation fee is forwarded in full to Beyond Blue. In return you will receive a complimentary personalised photography experience, plus one of your photographs featured in the book! Our target is to raise $10,000 for Beyond Blue!
PLEASE NOTE: Your photography session can be booked for any time up until the end of December, but you must register before the end of July 2020. Due to the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, please be assured that your photography session can be easily re-scheduled if need be to ensure we all stay safe.

The first 10 registrations will also receive a bonus $100 Gift Credit to use towards a stunning print for your wall!

Beyond Blue is an independent, not-for-profit organisation working to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression and suicide in Australia.
Beyond Blue provide information and support to help everyone achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live. They work to give everyone in Australia the confidence to speak
openly about anxiety, depression and suicide – both to seek support when they need it and to check in with those close to them – and they tackle prejudice and discrimination wherever they exist.
Funds raised go towards the Beyond Blue Support Service which gives every person in Australia the opportunity to talk through his or her concerns with a trained mental health professional. People who access the service can receive a brief one-on-one counselling session to address an immediate concern, as well as receive information and advice on continuing to seek support.

The old saying of ‘children grow up too quick’ is so very true and with a son of her own, Michelle understands just how precious it is to capture your family’s memories. It is also truly special to have these memories for your children to cherish when they are older.

Mums and Dads who enquire about a family photo shoot often comment that most of their personal photographs are missing Mum or Dad - because one of them is behind the camera. Mums often tell me about how they have no photographs with their children besides selfies! Unfortunately this is such a common issue as it’s very hard to take a full family photograph by yourself! You deserve to have the love and special connections you share as a family captured, plus have at least one nice family photo on the wall to admire!
Why not include the grandparents?! The kids are often their grandparent's biggest fans and love spending time with them. Capturing the love and connection you all share is super special! Grandmothers especially love nothing more than having photographs of their children and grandchildren! Especially recently with lockdown restrictions and not being able to see their grandchildren as much as they would like.
